About Us

Barry & Debbie Page have a passion for the industry which has led them to build and develop Swan Hill& Mildura Hair & Beauty Colleges. This passion and commitment to education is the culmination of many years experience within the industry.

Barry originates from England and worked in London for Vidal Sassoon, was a member of the Sassoon artistic team which travelled England, Europe, Australia & New Zealand conducting hair shows, seminars and photo shoots for seven years.

Barry has been mentored by the great Vidal Sassoon himself and other hairdressing gurus such as Trevor Sorbie & Annie Humphries.

Since coming to Australia Barry has owned a number of salons from Toorak to the Mornington Peninsula and continued to work as a platform artist, motivator and educator for hairdressers both in Australia and overseas.

Prior to moving to rural Victoria, Barry held the position of Director of Education for Haircare Australia. This involved organising and facilitating education courses, teaching as a platform educator, in salons & colleges while travelling about Australia, China & Taiwan visiting salons and staging hair shows.

During Barry’s career he has styled the hair for Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Cliff Richards, Russell Crowe, James Reyne, Sigrid Thornton to name a few, he is now settled in rural Victoria with his wife Deb.

Debbie Page has been in the hairdressing industry for over 25 years, started her career with Stephen Mow who is a well known Artistic Director for Pivot Point.

After completing her apprenticeship Debbie moved to Newcastle and worked for a well known Newcastle hairdressing salon. To further her career she then moved to Cairns and worked for Louise Ferguson who was a Hairdressing Judge for Work Skills International. She became an important member of  Louise Ferguson’s team being trained in management and leadership skills as well as advancing her already extensive knowledge of hairdressing. She has worked on Hair shows with Barry Page in Brisbane and the Gold Coast and also with Christian Alexander Artistic Director for Maddisons. Barry & Deb are now husband and wife and Deb owns and operates a successful salon in rural Victoria, always being a country girl at heart and loving the country lifestyle.

Our College employs hairdressers and beauty therapists with many years experience and a passion for the industry also.

Personal development is an essential component of our education as the Hair & Beauty industry is based on relationship and customer service.
